Before joining BabeKem, Yomi was a highly accomplished Oil & Gas Executive, EPCIC Specialist, and Strategic Business Leader with over twenty (20) years of progressive leadership experience spanning project & operations management, engineering procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC), petroleum production, corporate governance, and executive management within Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

Yomi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, combined with a strong technical foundation and certifications in Project Management, Petroleum Engineering, Piping Engineering, Quality and Safety Management and extensive hands-on field experience.

In the course of his career, Yomi demonstrated success in leading complex, capital-intensive, and safety-critical projects for major international oil companies and indigenous operators including Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), ExxonMobil, Chevron/Texaco, Nigeria LNG (NLNG), Total-Elf, and other strategic industry players. Widely respected for strong executive judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to deliver results in challenging offshore, onshore, swamp, and community-sensitive environments.

Yomi brought his wealth of experience as a transformational leader known for aligning corporate strategy with operational execution, driving sustainable growth, profitability, and shareholder value while maintaining strict adherence to strong QHSE philosophy, regulatory compliance, and ethical business practices to BabKem Consulting Services operations.
